Balgreen Playgroup

We have been in operation from the Bowling Club since 1993. The playgroup runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and we welcome children aged 2 – 5 years. Children do not need to be toilet-trained to come along and join us.

The playgroup is run by parents who form a committee to ensure the smooth running and continuing development of the playgroup. The playgroup depends on the support of the parents, such as fundraising and offering your talents to the group. We are a community playgroup and part of our ethos is to include our families and their support, as well as supporting their children.

Parents and carers who form the committee ensure the smooth running and continuing development of the playgroup. We no longer operate a Parent Duty Rota but require parental support for a variety of activities such as messy play, outings and general gardening and cleaning.

We have an “open door” policy and welcome any questions/queries about the playgroup or your child.
