Dunedin Dancers

Dunedin Dancers is a Scottish Country Dance group based in Edinburgh, Scotland. We meet weekly in Edinburgh, go on trips to folk dance festivals abroad and run an international folk dance festival in Edinburgh every two years.

Done some dancing before and in need of some fun, exercise and entertainment? Dunedin Dancers hold a weekly evening of social Scottish Country Dancing in Edinburgh with a variety of callers. We also organise two informal dances and one formal dance each year.

Need help with organising a ceilidh, wedding or corporate event? Dunedin Dancers can provide dancers and musicians to perform at your event or to lead it. Our repertoire includes Scottish Country, Highland, Step and Ceilidh dances, and we can tailor our programme to suit your needs anywhere within 50 miles of Edinburgh.

Interested in folk dancing generally? Dunedin Dancers organises an International Folk Dance Festival every two years. We invite dance groups from different countries to Edinburgh, and have a week of performances, ceilidh dancing and socialising.
