DESCRIPTION
Magdalene Community Centre is situated in East Edinburgh. The centre is situated in the grounds of Brunstane Primary School at the East end of the community. The centre comprises two general purpose rooms: kitchen, office and toilets although there is some use of the school hall in the evenings.
The centre is run in partnership between the City of Edinburgh Council Community Learning & Development and local people elected annually as the Charities Management Committee.
We offer activities for children, teenagers, adults & older people. Staff are employed by the Education Department. There is a part-time clerical assistant and a team of youth workers. Janitorial cover is shared with the school.
The centre has a weekly programme of activities, and is used by local people.
