DESCRIPTION
Manor Estates was established in 1995 following the transfer of over 900 houses in Edinburgh from Scottish Homes. Since then we have built and acquired a number of new houses across the city.
We are a charitable housing association, and our aim is to provide good-quality housing and services which help improve people’s lives and their local communities.
Manor Estates Housing Association has three Retirement Housing Complexes in Edinburgh.
Retirement housing gives older people the independence of having their own flat with the security of having an alarm system and a site manager.
Sutherland Street Sheltered Housing:
The development was built in 1983, and is located in the bustling area of Haymarket, Edinburgh. Sutherland Street Sheltered Housing is very close to local amenities and transport links.
