Blackwood Homes provides a range of accessible, modern, attractive and bespoke housing aimed at providing great value to people with a range of disabilities and housing needs.
We have 9 sheltered housing properties in Edinburgh all designed for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility.
Kirklands Park Rigg Care Home...
Completed in 1990, this development is a care home which is run in partnership with Leonard Cheshire Disability Scotland. There are six flats, all with gas central heating, managed by Margaret Blackwood Housing Association.
Kirklands Park Rigg Care Home is a Care Home providing a range of services for adults with learning disabilities.
Located in Kirkliston a small residential area 10 miles from the centre of Edinburgh. The River Almond is close by, perfect for a lovely relaxing walk. Edinburgh city centre, with its countless local attractions and amenities, is easily accessible and only a short bus ride away.
Kirkliston is served by Lothian Bus no. 63, First Buses nos. 21B, 22A/22B, 38/38A/X38, Horseburgh Bus no. 7 and Stagecoach Bus no. X51.
