information DESCRIPTION

Ramblers Scotland is the representative body for walkers in Scotland. For over 75 years we have been campaigning to protect the natural beauty of our countryside, promote walking and safeguard public access to land.

Ramblers Scotland works to secure access, develop paths, protect the natural beauty of the countryside and promote walking for everyone.

Among our many achievements, we played a leading role in the passage of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, which gives Scotland one of the best arrangements for public access in Europe.
