Turning Point Scotland Edinburgh services provide support to people experiencing problems with substance misuse and also individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Based in one location in Leith the services provide a wide range of support based on harm reduction and moving towards recovery.
There are three services in one location, one focused on harm reduction, one of promoting recovery and one for preventing homelessness.
One of the major strengths of the services are they work alongside agencies including NHS Lothian in the North-East Recovery Hub which provides access to a variety of treatments and programmes under one roof. These cover a wide range of health and wellbeing issues associated substance misuse harm reduction and promoting recovery.

They can access services designed to assist them into recovery from one-to-one or group sessions. They can also help address issues with low self confidence and isolation, through life skills like cookery and gardening.
For those experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness there are a range of support to maintain a tenancy with support on budgeting, home management and shopping and food preparation.
