information DESCRIPTION

WEACT is our community-based employability organisation offering a range of services to clients across Edinburgh. Areas we serve include the west, south west, city centre, south central, Pentland and south Edinburgh areas.

WEACT offers employability provision to clients from our main office, as well as from many satellite outreach offices throughout the city. We work in close partnership with local agencies, organisations, employers and colleges to ensure clients receive an excellent standard of service.

Help for unemployed people to improve their employability skills, boost their confidence, prepare CVs and Job Application Forms, practice their interview skills and much more. We may be able to give some financial assistance e.g. for bus fares when starting a job.

We help clients to gain confidence and self belief, working with clients to complete assessments and action plans to ensure they can reach their goals and gain meaningful and sustained employment, education or training.

Route2 provides friendly advice and support to help you to get a job and build your future career path.
