information SERVICE DETAILS

The Dove Centre operates Dove Transport – the number one community transport provider in the West of Edinburgh.

Dove Transport seeks to provide affordable and accessible community transport to local not-for-profit community organisations within the West of Edinburgh and surrounds.

Dove Transport was established in April 2003 as part of an Urban Community Transport Initiative pilot scheme set up by the Scottish Executive. There are four partners involved in the scheme who provide community transport throughout Edinburgh. We are currently in our fifth year of funding and the project continues to thrive.

Our current fleet consists of four minibuses – three 15-seaters and one 7-seater – all of which are fully accessible.

These buses are available for day or evening hires, seven days a week, with or without a driver.

Please note that we cannot hire to individuals.

All hires are subject to availability.
