The anxiety management course is a 6 week course which is run four times throughout the year alternating between The Wester Hailes Health Agency, and Health All Round (24 Westfield Avenue, EH11 2QH)
In a small group setting, we help clients to better understand how anxiety affects them and their life and how to develop strategies to manage anxiety.
The course will discuss, explore and help you to develop coping strategies for the following:
- The cause, purpose & effects of anxiety
- The physical symptoms of anxiety
- Unhelpful thinking patterns
- Panic attacks & relaxation
- The relationship between anxiety and stress
- Runs alternatively in the Health Agency & Cambridge Street twice a year.
The course is open to anyone 18+ living in the South West Edinburgh or in South Central area of Edinburgh.
Recommended for people with high levels of anxiety who are able to benefit form a group environment.
