SERVICE DETAILS
We offer a range of courses, access to information and literature on a range of issues relevant to carers. We also organise additional classes such as dance, art, music/singing as well as interesting talks by organisations and individuals who support carers.
Moreover, we offer 1-2-1 support via direct payments/Self Directed support via a dedicated member of staff who is available by appointment.
Finally, carers and cared for can enjoy our excursions as part of a small group on excursions to local venues and places of interest. A member of staff will be present to offer any assistance needed. Transport and entry fees are provided free of charge.
Outings...
Outings to local venues and places of interest in Edinburgh take place once a month.
This includes free entry and transport – a relaxed and supportive space awaits carers and cared for.
Talks...
We host talks on wide range of issues relevant to carers. This can also be a chance to meet and have a chat over a tea or coffee.
Courses...
Our drop in courses/classes are free for unpaid carers
Our 2022 Spring Carers Programme includes new additions such as the Ukulele Group and several Carers Rights sessions.
In addition to all above we continue to provided further opportunities for our Carers – Healthy Minds, Yoga, Meditation and Indian Dance class.
