Open Monday to Saturday, the Cafe provides an opportunity for outreach to our community and beyond just by being there. We aim to glorify God in our service to Him through baking, serving and caring for the community in such a practical manner.
Carrubbers Cafe provides a service and a link to the church for those who work and frequent the Royal Mile. Tourists from throughout the world are constant users.
The Cafe serves a variety of foods and drinks including, pasta bakes, salads, filled rolls, soups as well as various pastries, cakes, snacks, coffees, teas and soft drinks. You can't beat the prices, with plenty of meal deal options!
It has also recently started opening up for Breakfast from 8:30am!
The cafe is always looking for people to help, so if you are free for even a couple of hours during the day, please get in touch. There is no requirement to be a "Carrubberite" - and members of other fellowships are welcome to join the team!
Opened in December 1996, the cafe continues the tradition of D L Moody's desire to serve "the best cup of coffee on the Royal Mile".
Carrubbers Cafe is organised by Mike McKeown and overseen by Adrian Holdsworth.
