We don't ignore people in need.
Moving on from crisis can be lonely and isolating.
Our Housing Support Project works with people with addictions, mental health issues and other needs, providing support in their own homes, their own communities and helps to avoid future housing crisis.
It’s a big change settling into a place of their own and our Housing Support team work in partnership with people to make the first steps to independent living.
This could be practical or emotional support or a friendly face by their side to help them integrate into their local community. In the longer term it could be training or employment, building the skills and knowledge that will help avoid crisis in the future. And if crisis does occur or changes are needed, we are quick to act and get things back on track, working at a pace that people can manage.
