SERVICE DETAILS
LCTS minibus hire services operates from bases in Edinburgh and Dalkeith and is available to not-for-profit organisations in Edinburgh, Midlothian and West Lothian.
All our minibuses are available for hire on either a “Self-Drive” and “With -Driver” and our charges are mostly mileage-based.
Minibuses can only be hired by member organisations and full details are available in our Vehicle Hire Policy (https://www.lcts.org.uk/Hiring.html).
If you are interested in becoming an LCTS member, simply call or email the relevant office and we’ll have a membership pack sent or emailed.
LCTS has seven minibuses that can be hired by non-profit making community and voluntary groups in Edinburgh.
Minibuses range in size from 11 - 15 passenger seats, although carrying capacity is reduced whenever seats are removed to enable the carriage of passengers travelling in wheelchairs. Six minibuses are fitted with a passenger lift to assist boarding and alighting for people using mobility aids.
There are times when demand for the service (particularly "with-driver" hires) outstrips availability. The chances of making a booking can often be increased if a group can be flexible over times and/or dates.
