The WISHES women’s group is user led and supportive.
This group is for women who live in the Southside of Edinburgh, with emotional and/or mental health difficulties who would benefit from meeting other women like themselves in a relaxed and informal setting.
The aim of the group is to provide support to each other by attending on a regular basis and participating in the activities that are offered. The group is supported by a worker employed through Southside Community Centre and the City of Edinburgh Council, but members are encouraged to be actively involved.
Conversations may be around personal concerns or issues so members must agree that any information shared has to remain in confidence.
If you are interested, please get in touch on Thursdays by email giving a phone contact number. The group facilitator will meet with you before you join to chat about the group.
Please be aware the group facilitator works part time and only does admin on a Thursday.

The groups will be a mixture of in person sessions, online only sessions, with some being hybrid.
