183 Creative & Cultural Hub

“The Space” is a 450 sq.ft studio situated on the ground floor of the Media Education building and is fully accessible.

The Space is ideal for meetings, training, workshops, photographic studio or exhibitions and is available for hire on an hourly or daily basis.

Dalry 183 Creative & Cultural Hub is a fast-developing venue for well being through arts, media, meditation and physical activities. The ethos of the hub is to provide a platform for the development of more human-centred approaches to life and living.

The Space, at Dalry 183 Creative and Cultural Hub is much more than a hall offering a range of activities. Our vision is to create a fun, inclusive and exciting place for organisations and tutors to offer their activities as part of an overall programme where they are supported through the hub to reach more people and build their clientele.

There is a real need for a space in Edinburgh which offers the welcome and flexibility for people to try out new activities and make new connections. With a wide range of tutors and organisations offering everything from yoga, tai-chi and meditation to cinema, dance, drama and fitness we recognise that there are many more possibilities from pooling the talents, interests and resources of everyone involved to develop the reach and innovation that comes from collaboration.

'The Space' is the name of a fast-developing venue at Dalry 183 Creative and Cultural Hub. It is called 'The Space' because it is a multi-purpose hall which can be filled with different activities.The mission of the hub is to provide a welcoming and friendly place to develop well being and belonging through arts and cultural activities'.
