In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

Abbey Court sheltered Housing...

Is located in the Abbeyhill area of Edinburgh. The scheme was completed in 1982, and has 44 self-contained flats of various sizes. The development has a communal lounge, laundry and guest bedrooms. There is a staff office. The main building has three floors, all of which are served by a lift.

The emphasis at Abbey Court is on tenants being as independent as possible. Tenants are encouraged to undertake all aspects of day-to-day living tasks as far as they are able. For some, sheltered housing may be a first step towards independent living. Housing Services staff can advise on alternative housing options.
