DESCRIPTION
Capital Carers (formerly known as North West Carers Centre) is a small grassroots organisation. Formed in 1997 by local Carers who wanted more local support.
We are registered in Scotland as Charity No. SCO27274 – non-profit making – and have been providing tailor-made services to unpaid carers of all ages and the people they care for, for over 20 years.
What We Do
Our trained and highly experienced staff team can provide you with a listening ear, one-to-one support as well as a range of support services which can not only enable you to support the person you care for and assist you in carrying out your caring responsibilities, but more importantly, ensure that you personally are looked after and have time for yourself.
Areas We Cover
Our office is based in 525 Ferry Road, and we offer services to Carers of all ages living in the North West of Edinburgh. The areas we cover are the four Neighbourhood Partnerships; Inverleith, Forth, Western and Almond.
These include; Trinity & Boswell. Granton, Pilton, Drylaw and Muirhouse. Silverknowes, Davidson’s Mains, Cramond & Barnton. Clermiston, East Craigs & Corstorphine. Blackhall, Murrayfield, Roseburn & Ravelston. Comely Bank & Craigleith. South Queensferry, Kirkliston and Ratho Station.
