Description

Drumbrae Library is an organised collection of information resources made accessible to the local community for reference or borrowing.

The hub brings together lots of services under one roof: a new library for the area with self-service facilities, wi-fi, access to council services and the police safer neighbourhood team, a café area, community meeting rooms and a day care centre.

Singing sessions for the under 5s, every Tuesday at 2pm, Wednesday and Saturday, 10.30am to 11am
Book groups Book Club – Last Monday of the Month 6-7.30pm (places limited please contact for more information)

Chatterbooks – Mondays 4-5pm. Fortnightly Book group for young readers ages 8-11

Funky Fridays – Fridays 2-4pm – Weekly crafts and activities for ages 6+

Coderdojo – Saturdays 2-4pm - Fortnightly computer programming club for ages 10-16

Camp Natter Bears - Thursday 3:30 – 4:15pm. Fortnightly interactive story and craft session for parents/carers with 4-7 year olds

Film Club – Third Wednesday of the month – 6.45pm. (please contact for individual showings)

Family Film Club – Regularly showing children’s and family films (please contact for individual showings)

Mini-Makers/Minecraft Club - Fridays 2-4pm – recreate Edinburgh landmarks using Minecraft and other software for ages 8-11.

Homework Club Wednesdays (term time) 3:45 – 4:45pm – a quiet, welcoming space to do homework. For children in primary 5-7.

Digital Toybox – Mondays 6-7pm. Digital making including robotics, synths and 3D printing. 12-16 year olds.

Councillor Surgery – first Saturday of the month 10-11am.
