Firrhill Centre

The Firrhill Centre offers a wide range of services and support for people with disabilities. We have a range of distinct functions/projects - each aimed at a specific client group and/or with a specific function.

Day Support Services

We support a wide range of activities, both in the local community as well as in the centre itself. The emphasis is on inclusion and aiming to enable people to overcome social isolation and home pressures. An increase in confidence and ability aims to enable participation in, and access to opportunities for education, health and fitness, leisure, employment, cultural and other community activities.

Firrhill Short Breaks/Respite Centre

This purpose-built centre offers state of the art facilities for people with disabilities.

The philosophy of Firrhill is to offer service users the opportunity to experience new surroundings and meet new people while at the same time giving families/carers some time on their own. Service users are actively encouraged to make personal choices, establish relationships, maintain and develop independent living skills.
