La Petite École

Formed in 1987, the school is run by a dedicated and passionate group of parent volunteers.

At La Petite École, children of French-speaking parents (one or both) can improve their confidence in and enjoyment of French in a fun and educational setting.

Small classes create a supportive atmosphere where pupils aged 3 -12 with different levels of French can gain confidence in speaking with other children, guided by professional teachers.

Lessons combine language exercises (in reading, vocabulary, spelling and grammar) with games, stories and songs, also designed to help children discover Francophone traditions and culture.

French becomes not just something that happens at home, but a relevant part of the outside world!
