Milton Surgery

Milton Surgery is a leading medical practice with five GP Partners and a team of GP Associates.

Additionally, the surgery has a dedicated team of Nurses, Health Care Assistants and other community care services. We also offer treatment for minor injuries, operate several specialist clinics and are innovative in our provision of primary care.

We have a dedicated team of medical receptionists with a wealth of experience in providing excellent levels of patient service. Further duties are carried out by our administrative staff, led by the Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager.

The GP’s and their associates provide outstanding primary healthcare to around 8000 patients, across a large area from Musselburgh in the East of Edinburgh, to the Meadowbank and Willowbrae areas in the West of the City.

We are delighted to welcome all new patients, and our lists are currently open for registration.

Registering with the Practice...

We currently have an open registration list and would be delighted to welcome you as a patient, if you live within our practice boundary .

You can download the documents you need to complete registration – or call in and collect a ‘Registration Pack’ from reception at the surgery.

Please complete both separate forms and bring them to the surgery, along with the other proof of ID documents.

Opening Hours / Appointments...

The surgery is open for appointments Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm. The surgery is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

The surgery closes every Wednesday between 1:00pm - 2:00pm for staff training.
