Northfield & Willowbrae Community Services Group

Community based, voluntary organisation providing support to older people in Northfield / Willowbrae areas.

We support older people in our community by supporting not just the person but the family providing some respite and also having social groups with entertainment and speakers.

We have been established in the East of Edinburgh for over 25 years.

Presently we have a Monday group for people with dementia in many stages, they enjoy entertainment, lunch and quizzes.

Our Wednesday group is for perhaps more able older folk and we have speakers or entertainment every week. Home baking and a good natter/chat makes this a good afternoon for all.

We also have a long established Scrabble group on a Thursday afternoon, very enthusiastic and competitive!
