Ponton House Trust

The Trust looks after a charitable fund from which grants to organisations working with young people in the Edinburgh and Lothian area are distributed.

The Trust's charitable fund was established in August 1993 following the sale of Ponton House, a former boys' home. The Trustees determined to move from the outdated residential support service for disaffected boys to a broader role of supporting young people in need in the Edinburgh area. It has been making grants since then, distributing approximately £900,000 over this period.
