DESCRIPTION
Our practice is a modern purpose designed medical centre serving the medical needs of the area.
We are a well-established Medical Practice covering a large area from Eastfield to Willowbrae/Meadowbank, and from Duddingston Village to Joppa/Portobello. Until February 2004 the Practice was based at Southfield Loan. We moved to Mountcastle Drive South in February 2004 and are now well established in Mountcastle Healthcare Centre.
Registering with the Practice...
When you attend the Practice to register you will be asked to complete a GP registration form, and new patient questionnaire form, these must be completed before you see the Doctor, so it is advisable to attend at least 10 minutes before your appointment time, so that you can compete the information required.
There are a number of reasons why you may not be able to register with your chosen GP. For example, you may live too far away. If this is the case simply choose another GP in your local area.
Make an Appointment...
To make an appointment, telephone 0131 549 7340 between08:00am and 5:45pm. We offer a full range of appointment times. Urgent cases will be seen the same day. Patients with non-urgent needs will be offered the first available appointment with the doctor of their choice. It is very important to let us know if you are unable to keep an appointment. Please CANCEL IN PLENTY OF TIME so we are able to re-allocate the appointment.
SURGERY HOURS...
We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, we are closed at weekends and on Public Holidays. Appointments between 7:30am - 8:00am are available on a Monday with advance booking.
