Directory of local groups/projects who are offering specific support during the current COVID-19 pandemic »

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

St Martin of Tours Episcopal Church Welcome to St Martin’s we are a Scottish Episcopal Church.

Welcome to a church where faith engages both heart and mind.

Welcome to a church that is rooted in its local neighbourhood: flanked by the tenements of Gorgie/Dalry, St Martin’s believes in the centrality of community – our need of each other and of God. That is why we have transformed our building into a community resource centre for GorgieDalry, a home for a rich variety of activities.

Sunday by Sunday at 10.30am, we gather from many walks of life. We gather to be enriched and renewed:

- through the reading of scripture and reflecting upon it - through sharing communion with each other in bread and wine - through fellowship and support

And we go out to seek and follow Christ in whatever we do the rest of the week.

St Martin’s is an eco-congregation and a Fair Trade Church.

Where are we?

The church is located in the Dalry area in Edinburgh which is near Haymarket. We are at 232 Dalry Road, EH11 2JG, Edinburgh.

By Bus The Dalry Road is well served with many bus routes to and from the city centre, including numbers 2, 25, 3, 33, 4, 44. (see Lothian buses for more detail). The church is opposite Dalry cemetery after the the road bridge and garage as you come out of town.

By Bike There are cycle lanes along the Dalry Road and the North Edinburgh cycle path comes out on Russell Road, 5 mins from the church. The church has many railings which can be used to lock bikes.

By Car Metered parking is available round Murieston Crescent and Murieston Terrace behind the church. On a Sunday morning, you can park on the main road (but not directly outside the church where there is a pedestrian crossing).
