A Community Theatre for Edinburgh...
The Forth Act is a new community theatre group, and a SCIO, based in West Edinburgh but embracing the whole city, with the intention of creating drama by the people, for the people.
To bring drama into the community, you should use spaces that are familiar to people.
We will be working with community groups across the city to create a set, costumes, music and song, and will be encouraging people to get involved in all kinds of ways, on and off the stage.
We are now looking for people between 18-80 who want to be involved with any level of experience or none! As this is community theatre, all roles are unpaid.
You don’t need to know the play or have acted before. We will look at the play together in groups.
Rehearsals will take place in central Edinburgh.
