DESCRIPTION
We are finally installed in the Heart, which is going from strength to strength; the doors have been thrown open for the first, limited, public events as work progresses towards opening the whole site; several community groups are now holding regular sessions at the Heart, while tenants and partners continue to prepare their various premises.
It has taken several years to get to this stage and it may be some time yet to get to full, functioning capacity.
The broad themes of the Heart of Newhaven - which came through our community consultation and which we ask all our partners to support, some in many ways, are:
- CULTURE & HERITAGE
- LEARNING & ENTERPRISE
- WELLBEING
All with intergenerational working and practice running through them and helping to bring the community together.
