In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

The Trussell Trust is a Christian charity that does not affiliate itself with any political party and receives no government funding. We are non-judgemental and inclusive, providing assistance to people of all backgrounds and all faiths or none who are found to be in genuine need.

Every day people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. Trussell Trust Foodbanks provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis in the UK.

The Trust’s fast-growing UK foodbank network provides emergency food, help and support to hundreds of thousands of people in crisis in the UK. In addition our Social Enterprises provide vital funds as well as volunteering opportunities for people of all backgrounds and abilities.

The Trussell Trust partners with churches and communities to open new foodbanks nationwide. With over 325 foodbanks currently launched, our goal is for every town to have one.
