Visualise Scotland provides a range of care services tailored to the individual needs of people with physical and sensory impairments, learning disabilities and complex communication support needs.
At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to promote the dignity and quality of life of each person.
Visualise was formed as an ACTION GROUP in the Autumn of 1987 by a group of parents, carers and teachers of multi disabled visually impaired children from all over Scotland who attended Canaan Lodge, the multiply handicapped unit of the Royal Blind School, Edinburgh.
Visualise provides of suitable residential post-schooling in the community for multi disabled visually impaired young adults where they can enjoy continuity of education with stimulation in a caring environment, and where they can develop their considerable learning potential - equipping them with the skills to achieve as much independence as possible.
A whole new range of additional services are presently being developed to meet the very special needs of the multi disabled visually impaired throughout Scotland.
