Applying for a grant from the Veterans’ Foundation:
The Veterans’ Foundation provides grants to eligible organisations that provide assistance to serving and former members of the armed forces community, operational qualified seafarers and their immediate families.
The trustees will consider a range of factors including the projects or items being funded, the number of beneficiaries, the importance of the grant to the applicant organisation, the efficiency of the organisation and the needs of the beneficiaries. Please ensure that you read the grant guidance relevant to the funding programme you select before applying for a grant from the Veterans’ Foundation. The guidance and application form differs for each of the funding programmes.

The guidance and application form differs for each of the funding programmes. Only one application can be submitted per funding round.

Standard Grants...
- £5,001 - £30,000

- Up to £25,000 per year for up to three years (Max £75,000)

Major Grants...
- £100,000 - £200,000 (spread over one to three years)
- Closing date for Expressions of Interest is Tuesday 7th May 2024

The deadlines for submission of standard and salary grant applications are:
30th July 2024 - for a decision in September 2024
15th October 2024 - for a decision in December 2024
28th January 2025 - for a decision in March 2025
