The Racqueteers is an inclusive (mainly lesbian and gay) intermediate badminton group
We meet at Meadowbank Sports Centre on Thursday evenings to socialise, have fun and play badminton.
We are all about meeting new people, making friends, developing skills and playing badminton in a supportive & non judgemental environment.
The group is made up of members of all ages, backgrounds and sexual orientations and we welcome individuals of all badminton abilities, including those who have never played previously.
If you'd like to join us at a session you are free to have a taste, have a look and bring a friend!
Drop us an email in advance and we'll make sure that there are spaces available and that we look out for you on the night.
Players must be 18 or over. We do like to play for fun; with half of the groups members bordering on being competitive.
On occasion, we do host/participate in some informal, optional competition matches with Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester and London.

Per session costs £6 (2 hours play)
Cost for each season can vary, but average at £60 for 14-16 weeks
