Our school days are a great opportunity for the whole school to participate in live music, led by two of our Event Team musicians.
To book a School Day for the new academic year from late August 2023 to end of June 2024 please fill out our Event Enquiry Form at https://www.fischy.com/what-we-do/book-a-school-day and we will get back to you to confirm the cost and availability.
Included in a Fischy school visit:
- 3 x 45-minute song-teaching workshops in the morning, for up to 70 children in each group
- A 45min/one-hour concert for the whole school in the afternoon (full PA system provided)
- Workshops and concert usually take place in your school hall, or other suitable space
This format is flexible according to school size, with options available to visit for a half day for tiny schools, or 2-3 days for larger schools or a cluster of schools. The cost is dependent on the size of the project and the amount of staff time and travel involved.
Our event team members are highly trained and experienced, and will tailor the song choices and workshop style to your requirements where possible, for example as part of a school Wellbeing Week or Anti-bullying campaign. We are happy to work with all ages and needs - from nursery to P7, and in ASN settings.
All schools booking a school day will receive a discount off their next Fischy Music Online subscription, so they can continue to enjoy all the wellbeing benefits of singing throughout the year.
Most school days take place in the central belt of Scotland, but we do travel further afield on occasion or when visiting a cluster of schools.
