The Calders Youth Club is an open-access youth project for young people 8 to 11 years old that takes place every Wednesday in the The Calders Community Flat.
Young people who attend can participate in a variety of different games and activities, arts and crafts, access Wi-Fi, listen to music, watch movies and have fun.
Three youth groups run from the Calder Community Flat, situated at the bottom of Dunsyre House, on weekdays during school terms.
The groups provide young people with access to a space where they can safely meet with peers to relax, socialise and take part in activities.
Monday’s from 3:30pm to 5:30pm – Intermediate Group (P7’s – S2’s)
Tuesday’s from 3:45pm to 6:30pm – Senior Group (S3+)
Wednesday’s from 3:30pm to 5:00pm – Junior Group (P4’s – P6’s)
Food Provision...
About Youth provides FREE food for young people as part of all our core and activity programmes.
Young people can access food via our regular youth work drop in's above.
Young people can just turn up to the groups whenever suits them and opt in and out as they like.
