Age: Pre-school (4yrs - 5yrs)

The pre-school class is a workshop where we learn and play in Italian, for the development of language, communication and psychomotricity skills, through games, songs, stories and activities specifically designed for the children and their abilities.
Age: P1 (5yrs - 6yrs)
Time: 10:00am - 11:00am
The aim of this class is for the children to learn to recognise letters and sounds, form and join letters and start reading and composing simple words and simple sentences. There will be much activity in the classroom with games, filastrocche and social interaction.
Age: P5/P6/P7 non-bilingual (8yrs - 10yrs)
Time: 10:00am - 11:00am
The aim of the class is to provide the basis of the language: everyday words (animals, food, numbers…), sentences (ask the time, talk about a person…), read and write short sentences.
Age: P5/P6 Bilingual (8yrs - 9yrs)

The aim of the class is to develop the language skills of bilingual students. Lessons offer a variety of learning opportunities, through writing, listening and speaking task always combined with team game competitions, to motivate and support socialising with learning.
P3/4 (6yrs - 8yrs)

The aim of the class is to provide and develop language skills of bilingual and non bilingual children. Many activities, in the classroom, including fairy tales, songs and games. In this class the children are taught to understand everyday expressions and simple phrases; how to ask and answer basic questions. Writing and reading.
Age: P7+ / S1 (bi-lingual) (10yrs - 12yrs)

The aim of the class is developing speaking, reading and writing skills. Children will improve the verbal communication extending the vocabulary and taking part in more extended conversations. They will be able to read and demonstrate an understanding o

Age: Secondary / SQA Preparation (13yrs - 18yrs)
Time: 11:30am - 12:30pm
The main purpose of the course is to help students to develop the skills of reading, listening, talking and writing in order to understand and use Italian language. The aim is to prepare them to pass SQA NAT5, HIGHER and ADVANCED HIGHER exams. The students will have the opportunity to develop the ability to apply grammatical knowledge and understanding of the Italian language.
