Have you ever had questions about God, Christianity and the Universe? Come and start asking at our next Christianity Explored course...
“We're more wicked than we ever realised, but more loved than we ever dreamed”
Who is the course for?
Anyone who would like to investigate the claims of Christianity is very welcome.
What is the course like?
The course lasts for seven weeks, with an option extra two evenings or a day away, and is designed to be relaxed, informative and helpful. Each week there is a presentation on one key element of the Christian message, and plenty of time for discussion and questions. You're not asked to pray, sing, or read aloud, and you can ask any question you like. Or, if you prefer, you can come along and simply listen.
What does it cover?
Your group will explore what the Bible says about Jesus’ Identity (Who Jesus is), Mission (Why he came) and Call (What it means to be a Christian)
Weeks 1 and 2
- Good News: What are we doing here
- Identity: Who is Jesus?
Weeks 3 to 6
- Sin: Why Did Jesus Come?
- The cross: Why did Jesus die?
- Resurrection: Why did Jesus rise?
- Grace? How can God accept us?
- Come and die: What does it mean to follow Jesus?
- The Sower: Listen carefully
- James and John: Ask humbly
- Herod: Choose wisely
