SERVICE DETAILS
Our clinical supervision service is provided by Wellspring Therapists who are experienced in providing supervision to both qualified and trainee counsellors and psychotherapists, and to people in other related professions such as social work; criminal justice, social care, drugs and alcohol support workers.
Our supervisors offer a variety of approaches and have extensive experience of working with a range of client issues such as trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, relationships, mental health and learning difficulties.
Wellspring is an organisational member of the professional bodies of both COSCA and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). We abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and by the COSCA Statement of Ethics and Code of Practice.
FAQs
How much does supervision cost?
Supervision is charged at £55 per hour.
Therapy for trainee counsellors (required to have personal therapy as a course requirement) is £40 per hour.
Where and when is supervision available?
Supervision takes place at Wellspring, 13 Smiths Place, Edinburgh. Supervision times are agreed between supervisee and supervisors and can be weekdays or evenings.
