COLLECT FREE FOOD from 10:30am - 11:30am EVERY SATURDAY at the Baptist Church, 183 Portobello High Street.
We hope to address issues of food poverty as part of this project and reach those in our community who are most in need of food.
Everyone is welcome at our project, there is no stigma to collecting food and we will make it fully accessible.
Different food available every week:
- Tinned Food
- Fresh Produce (vegetables, fruit and herbs)
- Bread
- Bakery items (cakes, pastries, rolls etc)
- Fresh flowers
- Eggs
- Fresh Fish
- Fresh meat
- Bottled water
- Fizzy juice
- Cereals
- Cartons fruit juice
- Biscuits
- Tea/coffee
- Baking items
- Snack food
- Sauces
and much more!
Please only take what you need and can use within a few days.
Please try to limit what you take to one shopping bag.
Please leave plenty for others.
