Calders Green Shoots is the community food growing hub for the Calders estate.
We encourage and support local households in Wester Hailes to grow their own fruit and vegetables and cook healthy meals.
On Saturdays between 1:00pm - 4:00pm, regular community gardening sessions:
- Gardening questions/issues answered
- Free plants/crops to sow
- Fresh produce (fruit/veg) to take home
- Fruit trees ready to harvest, take what you want
- Advice on your beds
Or simply give your time to help out in the garden.
