2023/24 Registration for the new term is open now.
All students, the existing student or new students are required to register for their class via the registration page at https://www.accschool.org.uk/registration.php This will allow the parent to choose the suitable class and to provide updated contact information.
Mandarin Language classes:
Chinese language classes with various levels are offered to school-age children, starting from the minimum age of 4 and half.. The Chinese classes are taught mainly in Mandarin Chinese. Therefore, the choice of a language class is based on the student’s Chinese level, the tutor’s tests/assessments, and feedback from parents/guardians.

Happy Chinese classes:
We are also offering the Happy Chinese class to children of non-Chinese speaking backgrounds. The class is mainly taught in English and is tailored to their needs by using the purpose-designed teaching material. The aims are to get the student to be able to understand Chinese and speak Chinese. Once they can understand some basic Chinese, they can move to the Chinese language class in the next academic year.

Business Chinese Course (Beginner)...
This course is organized jointed between Scottish Confucius Institute for Business and Communication at Heriot-Watt University and Alba Cathay Chinese School.
This course is to introduce the basic knowledge of the Chinese economy, the essential aspects of contemporary Chinese human relations and behaviour and major business etiquette and aims to enable the learners with basic knowledge about the Chinese language in the business environment, to enable the learners to read simple business materials in Chinese, and to communicate effectively with Chinese businessmen as well as Chinese people as a whole.
By the end of the course, students are expected to recognise and write 260 Chinese characters related to business, to master related grammar patterns, and enable them to have a better grasp of basic Business Chinese and can communicate in routine tasks.
