The EVOC Red Book

The online directory to find third sector Organisations, and their services across Edinburgh

Directory of local groups/projects who are offering specific support during the current COVID-19 pandemic »

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

Craiglockhart Ladies Group has met on Monday evenings over the winter months for the past 40 years - not exactly the same group of women, but we do have one or two original members from that first meeting in November 1979 of the original Craiglockhart Young Ladies Group.

Each year we are delighted to welcome new members from the local community. We have no age restrictions and are pleased to get to know our “neighbours” and strike up new friendships.

We meet from September to March on the second and fourth Mondays of the month.

Our meetings are held in Centenary Hall and start at 8:00pm, finishing by 10:00pm.

We have a varied range of speakers and activities throughout our programme and each meeting winds up over a cuppa and a chat.

Why not come along and give it a try - or come back for a visit? There are many former members who still live locally and we would love to see you, particularly as we celebrate this special anniversary.
