A two course roast dinner with all the trimmings for anyone in the City of Edinburgh who would use the Care Van or Welcome Centre and is needing a good meal, company and support.
Bethany Banquets are run in the summer months in the absence of the Rapid Re accommodation Welcome Centre. The aim is to make our guests feel welcome by providing a nice environment with table decorations, really good food and live entertainment. The evening is run by the Welcome Centre staff with food cooked and served by volunteers. The evening is an excellent opportunity for guests and staff to chat and for staff to find out how people are living during the summer months.
The banquet is intimated by flyers and posters sent out in advance to the many homelessness services operating in the city.
Who can apply?
Anyone who 16+ and feels in need of a hot meal.
