89%* of men in the UK will experience fatherhood in their lifetime. We know that children have better outcomes in life when all parents are actively involved in their upbringing. (*Fatherhood Institute) We welcome all Dads/Male carers, including trans and non-binary Dads at our groups and services.
Our aim is to improve outcomes for children in Scotland, to ensure the best start in life by providing support to Dads and families. Our hope is through achieving this, there will be a larger shift in society toward accepting the vital role Dads play.
Raising Teens with Confidence...
Online - Six week course, 1.5 hours per week. For Dads, Mums and carers.
Giving you the latest findings from evidence and research to explain the development of emotional wellbeing. Open to all families in the UK.
A six session (1.5 hours per week) course which has been delivered to thousands of parents over the last 10 years.
It covers the following: navigating increased independence, developing confidence, security and resilience, emotional wellbeing.
Suitable for Dads and Mums of children aged 11-16 yrs.
The next course starts Tues 18th Apr, 7:00pm - 8:30pm.
