SERVICE DETAILS
Drylaw Rainbow Club is a registered day care service for people who are 60 years or over.
The Day care Service is for frail older people and older adults with a diagnosis of dementia living in the Drylaw area.
The project offers older adults the opportunity to get out of the house and meet others and make friends. The group offers support, friendship, a variety of social activities and a hot lunch.
This is a great opportunity to socialise and to have fun through a variety of activities held each day.
Activities...
Include - quizzes, board games, music & movement, music & singing, guest speakers, reminiscence etc.
Day trips and special events are also arranged throughout the year.
The activity programme is planned in such a way to give service users choice about what they would like to do each day.
Food...
Snack, two course lunch and tea/coffee and biscuits are served throughout the day.
Transport...
Transport to and from the venue is provided (included in the price). Alternatively, you can make your own way to us or travel with your carer.
