SERVICE DETAILS
The project is for frail older people in the North East Edinburgh area. The project offers older adults the opportunity to get out of the house and meet others and make friends. The group offers support, friendship, a variety of social activities and a hot lunch.
Lochend North East District Day Care is a registered day care service for people who are 65years or over. he project offers older, frail adults the opportunity to socialise and to have fun through a variety of activities held each day.
Activities...
Include - quizzes, board games, music & movement, music & singing, guest speakers, reminiscence etc. Day trips and special events are also arranged throughout the year.
Food...
Two course lunch and tea/coffee and biscuits are served throughout the day.
Transport...
Transport to and from the venue is provided (included in the price) . Alternatively, you can make your own way to us or travel with your carer.
