Riccarton Service is a day service for adults between the ages of 18-65 with physical, sensory and associated learning disabilities.
Riccarton Hub is our day opportunities service based on the Heriot-Watt University’s Edinburgh campus.
At Riccarton, we provide fun and meaningful activities for you to get involved in during the day. We pride ourselves in enhancing outcomes and life experiences and in our Hub, we focus on health and well-being as well as creating smiles. We're focused on making your time at Riccarton all about you and offer tailored and bespoke support plans.
Rewarding Activities...
At the Hub, we offer a variety of fun and rewarding activities to get involved in. Whether you want to take part in our cooking group, gardening in our sensory gardens, take part in creating great music, or anything else, we'll help you achieve it.
At Riccarton, we specialise in providing sensory-based activities and experiences. We have state-of-the-art and interactive sensory rooms where you can enjoy experiences through storytelling, communication book bags, and story massage.
Health and Well-being...
Riccarton has a strong focus on health and well-being, and our facilities mirror this. We have rebound therapy, beneficial for body movement. We provide exercise, mobility, and postural management through the use of our Motomed, standing frames, and much more.
We have our own on-site spa facilities which provide massage, pampering, and a little bit of the 'feel-good factor'.

Our facilities at Riccarton are purposely designed for people who have additional support and access needs. Everything you might need or want to use is within easy reach. We've thought of everything to make this a great environment for you, even our sinks are adjustable!
