Covid-19 UPDATE..
We reopened our Craigmillar Service, in Edinburgh, on 9th November, supporting up to six people each day in the Hub, as well as continuing to support 21 people at home.

Day care service for adults between the ages of 18 and 65 with physical, sensory and associated learning disabilities.
Our day opportunities service at Craigmillar offers a variety of experiences and exciting programmes for you to get involved in.
We’re all about art, expression, and developing talents here and this is something that shines at Craigmillar. We like to work with different forms of arts and crafts and create distinct, expressive pieces that not only do we love creating, but love to share. We have excellent digital facilities to work on our photography and virtual art, as well as a number of craft rooms if we prefer a bit of sewing, painting, or clay modelling.
We offer our customers a respectful, encouraging, and safe space to meet their goals. We’ll work to create a tailor-made Caring Support package which is led by you, for you, and only you.
We like to work beyond the bounds of the service, too. Capability Scotland is happy and able to support our Customers in accessing community projects and venues, playing sports outdoors, and much more. We use the brilliant bus services to travel easily within Edinburgh, making the most of what our communities have to offer.

We can help you with all aspects of daily living, helping promote your independence and self-confidence to be the best you that you can be.
It’s a great time to be at Craigmillar just now, as we plan for our first ever art exhibition. We’re pulling out all the stops to show our work to the public and develop our skills in business by selling a few pieces, which you can find available on our online store.
Currently, we operate between Mondays and Fridays in the daytime but we have plans to expand our service soon.
