The EVOC Red Book

The online directory to find third sector Organisations, and their services across Edinburgh

Directory of local groups/projects who are offering specific support during the current COVID-19 pandemic »

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

Coffee Stop provides a welcoming place for women to connect, grow in confidence and gain new life-skills. Relationship is at the heart of all we do.

The group enjoys monthly lunches together, as well as exercise classes, baking sessions, discussion groups, games events, craft times and trips out. In addition, there is a varied programme of visiting speakers from different community organisations across the city, many sharing about looking after our well-being and mental health.

Coffee Stop meets on a Thursday at our Destiny Leith location, 1:00pm - 3:00pm, and all ladies are welcome to join us for a time of fun and friendship. Men are also welcome to join us on the last Thursday of every month, when we have a specific session on wellbeing and mental health.

Check the coming up section of our website ( for more information and dates. We are also looking for new ladies to join our volunteer team, as well as people who can come along as a visiting speaker to share a skill or talk about an area of interest.

We’d love to hear from you!
