What makes a Digital Champion?
Our Digital Champion cohorts bring people together from different roles in the community and organisations. You’ll all have one thing in common - the same passion for helping people with their digital skills.
You don’t need to be a digital expert to become a Digital Champion . We’ll give you all the training, resources and support you need.
Our Digital Champion mission
Our mission is to help you become a force for good in your community or organisation, helping bring to life the essential digital skills others need to thrive in the digital world around us.
Working alongside other Digital Champions, you'll support the UK's digital inclusion initiatives or your organisations need to embed a digital first culture.
Can anyone be a Digital Champion?
If you enjoy helping others where you work or want to support people in your community get to grips with their technology, then the Digital Champion programme could be for you.
Not only will you be doing something you enjoy, you’ll also be teaching essential digital skills to help people become more employable or avoid becoming digitally excluded and isolated.
How the programme works?
Our six-step programme will help you feel confident to support anyone who needs digital support or more confidence using their digital devices. We provide a mixture of learning and activities to help you develop the skills needed to support others and set your goals around the impact you want to make.
The time it takes you to complete the programme is down to you; we deliver our virtual sessions on a weekly basis and the learning is available 24/7, so you're in control of your own learning journey.
*For any Digital Champion under the age of 18 it is important that you only deliver sessions to people who you know or are linked to through any group which you represent. When representing a third party organisation you should follow their existing safeguarding policy regarding interactions with members of the public.

We'll provide you with the core knowledge to ensure you're confident to hold great conversations about common digital questions or problems.
Preparation and reflection...
We'll help you plan and prepare effective interventions, while also giving you activities to ensure you reflect on the things that have gone well.
