Do you ever feel like you would like a bit more support but aren't sure where to turn? Talking about what is going on can make a difference.
We have lots of ways that you can get in touch online and get support from youth workers. Wherever you are in Scotland, whatever your worry or concern, we are here to listen.
LIve Chat...
The Live Chat feature of our website is a easy way to chat with trained youth workers in real-time about what ever is on your mind. From questioning your sexual identity, coming out and relationship issues to bullying and sexual health – this is a private place designed for you to chat, confidentially, with a digital youth worker.
Sessions run at the following times:
Monday: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Tuesday: 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Wednesday: 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Thursday: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
If you would like to chat online but aren't free during the LiveChat times - let us know and we might be able to open it for you.
If LiveChat isn't open you can send us a message by emailing info@lgbtyouth.org.uk or clicking "Send Message" in the bottom right corner - just make sure to type your email address in carefully or we'll not be able to get back to you.

Text message & email support...
If our Live Chat service isn’t running, you can also access support from our Digital Youth Workers using our text message service. This is available Monday to Friday, for young people aged 13 to 25 on 07786 202 370. Simply send a text to the number introducing yourself and mentioning roughly what you’d like to talk about. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
If your issue is better suited to an email, you can also contact the same Digital Youth Workers by emailing info@lgbtyouth.org.uk.
Social media...
Our social media accounts are great places to get information, updates and advice during this time of physical distancing. We use each platform in a slightly different way:
Instagram – We use Instagram Stories to get content straight to young people. You’ll find memes, motivational content, unmissable posts from other creators and video clips from our team here.
Facebook – We publish weekly updates, blogs and video content from our staff, volunteers and youth activists. See above for more info about how we’re using Facebook to run digital youth groups!
Twitter – A buzzing daily feed of content direct from our staff team. We’ll be retweeting great content from partner organisations to keep young people (and those who work with young people) upbeat, empowered and informed.
